Mundesley
I grew up in Norfolk, near to Fakenham and we always headed to Holkham or Wells-Next-The-Sea when I was younger.
A friends parents bought a holiday home in Mundesley so we stayed there and started to explore the coast line, wow, what a place! It reminds me of what Wells used to be like 20 years ago.
It gets battered by the tide and wind, earthing up so many beautiful fossils. I found a mammoths tooth in 2018, and many echinoids and belemnites over the years. It’s a beautiful part of the world.
This painting was commissioned for the cottage we stay in. I love that I still get to see it.
